Accepting Fixed Deposits
Fixed Deposits are accepted in multiples of thousands of kyat for periods of 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and 12 months . Interest rate for (1)month, (3)months, (6)months (9)months and (12)months periods, are 9.00% p.a, 9.50 p.a, 10.00 p.a, 10.50 p.a, 11.00 p.a respectively. Interest will not be receivable if the depositor withdraws money before maturity date of a Fixed Deposit.
