Accepting Fixed Deposits
Fixed Deposits are accepted in multiples of thousands of kyat for periods of 3 months, 6 months and 9 months . Interest rate for (1)month, (3)months, (6)months and (9)months periods are 5.7% p.a, 6.2 p.a, 6.7 p.a, 7.2 p.a respectively. Interest will not be receivable if the depositor withdraws money before maturity date of a Fixed Deposit.
