( IV ) Internal Remittances
Internal Remittances in local currency (Kyat) are being provided by using Fax (or) bank draft. The Bank has extended its internal remittance activities by linking to the branch-network of the Myanma Economic Bank (MEB) (passing through 258-branches of MEB) within the country.
Remittance Charges
Bank charges for Kyat remittances within the country are –
- Kyat 0.05 for remittance amount K 100
- Fax Charge is Kyat 500 per remittance
